Doctoral Colloquium

The doctoral colloquium will take place on the 8th of November 2022.

The aim of the colloquium is to provide PhD students with professional skills for their academic career. In addition, the colloquium provides an arena for networking and relationship building among young Nordic scholars within the field of retailing and wholesaling, ensuring that the region can provide high quality research for the future. The colloquium is open for doctoral students at different stages of their project.

We will start the day around 11 am with lunch, and the day will end around 4 pm. The conference welcome reception will take place on the same day evening from 5 pm to 9 pm.
We have extended the deadline for applications to September 18 and the notifications of acceptance will be send by September 20.

 

How to apply

To participate, please send

1) a brief motivation on why the doctoral colloquium would be important for you in developing your research and

2) a 3-5-page description of your PhD project including where you are in the PhD process to NRWC2022@tuni.fi by September 18, 2022.

The number of participants is limited and the selection will be based on your motivation as well as the fit between your research interest and NRWC.

Five doctoral and postgraduate students are being sought for the NRWC conference 2022

 

The Hakon Swenson Foundation has decided to offer five scholarships of SEK 10,000 each to enable doctoral and postgraduate students with a focus on retail and wholesale at universities and colleges to attend the Nordic Retail and Wholesale Conference (NRWC) held in Tampere, Finland on 8-10 november 2022.

The scholarship is intended to cover travel and subsistence as well as ancillary costs
