Ängelholm Helsingborg airport is only 30 minutes from Helsingborg and is operated with a frequent timetable from Stockholm daily with connection possibilities from the rest of the country and the world. Copenhagen international airport is about an hour away with good connections by train to Helsingborg.
City of Helsingborg
Helsingborg is a coastal city in southern Sweden, across the Øresund Strait from Denmark, which is to the west. It is known for its old town, home to the medieval Kärnan tower, as well as many other beautiful Gothic and neo-Gothic buildings that evoke the city’s history. Today Helsingborg is a centre of technology, research and business, and in 2020 the city won second prize in the European capital of innovation awards.
The city’s tourist attractions include Sofiero Castle and Saint Mary’s Church, which dates back to the 12th Century. Helsingborg is also famous for its coastal beauty and there are many recreational areas such as the beach walk. In the city centre there is also a lively marina which hosts a number of excellent restaurants, among which the restaurant Roy’s has lovely seafood to offer.
