NRWC Doctoral Workshop November 5th 2024

Welcome to a workshop for doctoral students! The overall aim of the workshop is to support the work of doctoral students in all phases of the doctoral education. The workshop is divided into two parts. The first part deals with questions related to ongoing dissertation work. Here doctoral students will give a presentation based on a work-in-progress paper, and identify current challenges or questions for discussion. Doctoral students will be, based on dissertation topic, divided into three groups led by a senior scholar that will facilitate discussion and provide feedback. The second part of the workshop considers the publication process for international, peer-reviewed journals in retailing and consumption. The objective of this part of the workshop is to discuss publishing strategies and paper writing as well as key issues in the review process. The discussion builds on questions submitted by the doctoral students.

To participate in the workshop, doctoral students need to submit an application consisting of a 2000-3000 word description of current work-in-progress and two questions related to the publication process, by email to NRWC2024@ism.lu.se by 1 September. Questions regarding the workshop can be directed to NRWC2024@ism.lu.se.

There is an opportunity to apply for a scholarship, funded by The Hakon Swenson Foundation, that covers costs related to the conference. For more information please visit: https://nrwa.se/nrwc-2024/doctoral-colloquium/
